Mug rugs are so nice to put out on your table while having coffee by yourself, or with the girls. I made mine using cotton fabrics with a coordinating coffee bean border. It is machine quilted with a meandering stitch and the backing fabric is a speckled fabric to match a color in the little coffee block on the front. It measures 9 by 9 ¼ inches, the perfect size for a coffee mug, and maybe a small plate of cookies. All of the items I create are made in my pet free, smoke free home studio.
