Burgundy Victorian Christmas tree Skirt

The beauty of a Christmas tree decorated with pretty ornaments always puts a person into the holiday spirit. As you look at this completed skirt you will see that each little tree is totally different than the one next to it. It is one of my original patterns. The skirt measures 19 inches in diameter, and made of felted wool. The trees are freehand machine stitched and embellished with rhinestones. The mauve background fabric is covered in roving wool, Angelina fibers and snippets of ribbon covered in bridal tulle. It is backed with dark burgundy felted wool and machine quilted.
