Checkers

I had a lot of fun making this quilt with all delightful characters printed on the fabric. I have sewn a checkered block assembly in the center of the quilt and added a wide border of the animal print. It is backed with coordinating alphabet fabric and has a hand sewn French fold binding in lime green.  This quilt measures 41 ¼ X 34 ¼ inches. It is made of 100% cotton fabrics, a cotton batting and machine quilted with a meandering stitch.  All of the items I create are made in my pet free, smoke free home studio.

Springtime Pinwheels

 

 

This is a lovely pieced lime green quilt with yellow pinwheels. I used Kona cotton on the front and back. The batting is 100% cotton. It is machine quilted with feathers throughout the top. The binding is hand stitched. After finishing the quilt it was washed and tumble dried on low to give it that crinkled look you get after washing an all cotton quilt. This quilt measures 44 ½ X 38 inches. All of the items I create are made in my pet free, smoke free home studio.
