Handmade Victorian BOO

Victorian BOO

Halloween has come and gone, but I wanted to share with you some wooden letters I made. Each letter is 9 1/2 inches high and ¼ inch thick. Once I covered my letters with paper, I decided on a Victorian theme. I inked the edges with metallic paint just to get the background prepped for all the embellishing I was going to do. I stamped bats, pumpkins and spider webs to create an interesting background. I had an old Victorian calendar, so I hand cut some of my favorite images out of the calendar pages and placed them at random on the letters. Then I glued them in place. It was really starting to look interesting. I decided I needed some scary spiders to go with the spider webs, so I stamped them on. It was time to coat the letters with Mod Podge. When they were still wet, I sprinkled them with sugar glitter. When dry I added dots of glitter glue and then some sparkly rhinestones. They were sealed with acrylic spray.
All of the items I create are made in my pet free, smoke free home studio.
The purchase price is $45.00 plus $12.00 shipping and handling. If you are interested in purchasing this item visit my Etsy shop by clicking on the Etsy icon on the left side of the screen
