The Country Tote Bag
This bag is machine pieced for
durability. I use coordinating fabric for the lining and cotton batting to then
machine quilt the entire bag. It has generous lined outsides pockets on the
front and back and pleated corners on the bottom of the bag. The tote measures
12 inches wide by 15 inches high and is 6 inches deep. I used coordinating
prints to assemble the bag. It has 2 deep lined pockets on the front and back
where I added a pretty braided trim. The straps measure 26 inches and are also
lined with quilt batting for extra comfort. I added bias tape to the straps to
accent the colors in the bag. This bag would be great for shopping, or a day
out with the girls. The bag can be machine washed on a gentle cycle and line
dried.

My "Cupcake" shoulder bag

fabric and a coordinating print and sewed this little bag that would be great
for shopping or a little girls sleep over. The tote measures 12 inches wide by
15 inches high and is 6 inches deep. The straps measure 26 inches. It has a
light spring feel to it with the bright yellow, pink and lime green fabrics. I
added a cute cupcake button and an assortment of colored buttons to accent the
outside of the bag – just a little extra bling.

The "Christmas" shoulder tote
This holiday bag would be a great accessory for all your
Christmas shopping trips to the store. It has a snowman image, on the front and
back pockets. The shoulder straps are lime green with a red stripe. I then
added dark blue rick rack as an additional trim on the straps. It is lined with
solid black. The outside has coordinating prints to match the pocket fabrics. The tote measures 12 inches wide by 15 inches

and pleated corners on the bottom of the bag. The tote measures 12 inches wide
by 15 inches high and is 6 inches deep. The straps measure 26 inches. I have
always loved autumn and the whole idea of going back to school. I found some
fabrics with a school theme for the outside bottom base and the top binding to
the bag. I then followed up with a coordinating fabric that I incorporated into
the pockets. The inside of the bag was lined with very dark red fabric.
